tomorrow is finals night - 2 semi finals best of 15 legs and final best of 19.

bets are thin on the ground and ive chucked a few quid on the 170 check out in the whitlock / hamilton semi at 16/1 with lads.
both players are excellent counters, in an earleir league match between the 2 there were 5 x 170 attempts in the 14 legs played. the bet copped for me in the world champs semi between the 2 at 6/1 but over a much longer distance. in the last meeting there was only 1 attempt over 12 legs but whitlock loves the big set up for a 170 check.
i've a 100/1 ew voucher on hamilton to win the prem leag so in all honesty i;ll be taking a greater interest in the match for a very different reason !!!

trying to find an edge on the teams involved is some task so my usual approach will be in player markets such as goalscorers, bookings etc - which again leads to further caution in terms of stakes.

these are my bets so far over last few weeks;

4 pts france bt england draw no bet 11/10 (evens best priced now) - england false price in this market as usual with patriotic money.

2pts gomez top scorer 8/1 - i think germany are the team to beat and if they are to go deep in the tournie then this man must surely be in the goals prefer the 8s to germany best price 10/3. he should get the starting nod over klose who has been injured for a while playing for lazio.

1pt ew muller top scorer 25/1 - logic as above.

1pt ew lewandowski top scorer 66/1 (now 33/1 general). his hat trick vs bayern munich last week has seen his price come right in but hes been brilliant all season and is the golden boy of polish football. a specualtive punt in the hope that the home nation can get out of the group with lewandowski goals landing ew part of bet.

1pt benzema top france scorer 10/3 (now 3/1) - most likely goalscorer guaranteed starter class act.

1pt m.kedlec top czech rep scorer 12/1 (now 10/1) - penalty taker and possibly get his share of free kicks too. scored 4 goals from left back in qualifying from the penalty spot. czechs have attacking players who like to take a tumble so you never know! (baros and rosicky come to mind!)

1pt krohn delhi top denmark scorer 16/1 (now 12/1) - plays in a front 3 with bendtner and rommadahl and those pair are priced on name at 7/2 and 8/1. denmark are in the group of death and may only score 1 or 2 goals so a player in such form for his national side could easily share the prize of top scorer and pay out on dead heat rules.

1pt republic of ireland no goalscorer 14/1 (now 15/2) - will set up negatively and play spain and italy. croatia is first up and this is the most likely game to see them score but at such a big price i couldnt ignore taking the bet.
